In the days that we live in and everything consistently changing, we are required, a bit, even if you don't feel that you're an entrepreneur, to put that hat on. And I think to be an entrepreneur is strictly being willing to look at things very differently, sooner than later. And that's the ability to say, "Now we need to make those changes."
But where I've seen that really rub in organizations that are steeped in culture, that is longstanding, as far as that 100-year-old company, you really have to look at, there are some hidden cultural norms that if you're not willing to address and bring out into the light, some of those decisions that you're making to survive and thrive in a very fast-changing world could have significant impact on the employees that ultimately will affect the organization.
