There Are 2 Types of Leaders
Are you an ‘and then’ leader or a ‘but then’ leader?
Glen Jackson, co-founder of marketing communications agency Jackson Spalding, explains that there are two types of leaders: ‘and then’ leaders and ‘but then’ leaders.
“Always [be] an ‘and then’ leader, not a ‘but then’ leader,” says Glen. “The ‘but then’ leader is moving along well in her business, but then makes a wrong turn. But then makes a greedy decision… The ‘and then’ leader is moving along, and then she makes this great strategic decision and then more momentum happens.”
