An exclusive backstage interview with Seth Godin from Leadercast Live 2015!

Seth Godin shares his passion for doing good in the world, explaining that there is more stability in more places around the world than ever before. He encourages us to recognize that coming from a more stable environment allows us to solve more challenges than ever before.

"I don't think people are aware enough of what an extraordinary moment of time this is!" says Seth. "The world is safer and more peaceful than it has been in thousands of years. And yet, he adds, “…there are more projects to be done more often by more people with more generosity than ever before and it won't last forever. And I feel like part of my job is to point out to people that we better hurry..."

I don't think people are aware enough of what an extraordinary moment of time this is. The world is safer and more peaceful than it has been in thousands of years. Many, many areas of technology are at asymptotic points of significant change.

There's still pain, there's still poverty and that's not going away as fast as it should, but at the same time there's this stable platform to make a difference. We don't have to sit here recovering from the depression or recovering from World War II. They aren't people who live on your block who have cholera.

All around us, there are these resources and yet we're stuck on doing what we did yesterday. We're stuck going to the mall and then putting the stuff into the storage unit. We're stuck thinking about the short-term cycle of how do I make my job last.

As opposed to accepting the fact that we live in a project world and there are more projects to be done more often by more people with more generosity than ever before and it won't last forever. And I feel like part of my job is to point out to people that we better hurry.
