Pitches and Presentations

You can have the greatest idea in the world, but if you can’t present a convincing case, you won’t obtain buy-in. That means you won’t have a team on board to help your idea come to fruition and you won’t have investors to finance it. A few tips to nailing a pitch or presentation that will excite those who hear it include: getting to the point quickly and clearly defining the problem you’re trying to solve; delivering an experience rather than a speech; not using too many slides or bells and whistles that distract from your point and paying attention to and learning from other presenters.
