Libby Goldschmid is the Corporate Director of Sales, East Region at Core-Mark International in Atlanta, Georgia. A graduate of the University of Alabama and member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, Libby has 25+ years of experience in business development, sales, and marketing. Her experience spans corporations such as McNeil/Johnson & Johnson, The Coca-Cola Company, The Weather Channel, and Core-Mark International.
Her key professional achievements include being named “Vendor of the Year” by 7-Eleven in 2008, 2009, and 2012, chosen subject matter expert to speak at the National Association of Convenience Retailers (NACS) convention in October 2012, leading the development of the first ever cause-equity campaign called “Ray’s Awareness” for The Weather Channel, and winning the 2001 media industry Beacon Award. She is a Dale Carnegie Sales Talk Champion and developed and introduced a custom display program at McNeil that cut costs by 21% and grew the business from $55 million to $168 million in 2 years.
In her free time, Libby is an avid hiker and trip leader for Atlanta Outdoor Club. She plays a mean game of golf with a low golf handicap of 9.8. She mentors professionals who are in career transitions and is an RUMC Industry Guide. When she’s not hiking, golfing, or mentoring professionals, Libby can be found reading, enjoying time with friends, and cooking.
